Commited a sustainable chemicals future
SusAudit is a company registered in The Netherlands founded and owned by Rik Onrust
After having worked for more than 35 years for Shell Chemicals, Rik started SusAudit on July 1st, 2024. His goal is to phase out fossil petrochemical feedstock and have sustainable feedstocks becoming the standard for the chemicals industry. Rik would like to enable this by getting as many as possible chemical companies certified for ISCC Plus or similar schemes.
Rik: “During my time at Shell, I have seen how difficult it is to grow the sustainable chemicals business. Brand owners do not want to burn their fingers with unfounded sustainability claims and most of their customers are not willing to pay more for products with a lower environmental footprint.”

During my corporate life I had the privilege to develop young talented people and to learn from seasoned professional subject matter experts, from all over the globe. Now with my own company I can apply this hands-on, during the getting ready for certification projects I run for my clients.
